How it works
Reserving a Divine pup takes three steps. The third is choosing how you’d like to be matched, and this page walks you through every option, so you know exactly what to expect.

Professional photos. The Nursery List opens to the Expecting List, 2 to 4 spots. You have 24 hours to reply, and joining the Nursery List takes an additional $500 deposit.

Expecting, then Pre-Approved
Any remaining spots open to the Expecting List for 24 hours, then to Pre-Approved families, first come first served, with a $1,000 deposit to join.
9 weeks

Temperament evaluations. I walk you through every result and advise on the best fit.

First pick: Divine Pups reserves the right to first pick of every litter. Any Service Dog placement gets first pick when we don’t join. In those litters, there may be only one Ultimate Match spot.
Glossary
The words you’ll hear
Nursery List
The pick list for one litter. Only expecting moms have a Nursery List you can join.
Pre-Approved List
Approved families not ready to place a deposit. Joins open spots at about 6 weeks, first come first served, with a $1,000 deposit.
Expecting List
Families open to most physical traits. $500 non-refundable deposit, plus $500 more when you join a Nursery List. Nursery Lists open to you at 4 weeks.
Ultimate Match Program
Our most exclusive pathway. Priority notice and the first picks of every litter, for up to 12 months.
The Divine Pups way
A puppy is not matched on appearance alone
Even if a puppy has the exact physical traits you want, their temperament may not be the right fit. You always choose your own puppy. I don’t choose for you. But I’ll walk you through each temperament and advise you on the best match.

The Ultimate Match Program
Are deposits refundable, and do they expire?
All deposits are non-refundable, and UMP deposits expire 12 months from the initial deposit. If you are very specific about temperament and physical traits and don’t want to commit to a list, follow our website and social media for Ready Pups.
What if I'm not matched with a puppy that fits the physical traits I want?
You may move to another Nursery List for the next available Ultimate Match spot (2 per list), or choose another puppy from that Nursery List even if the physical traits aren’t what you first had in mind.
What if the breeding doesn't produce the color or gender I want?
You may move to another Nursery List for the next available Ultimate Match spot. You have up to 12 months to be matched with your pup.
What if no other open Nursery List matches what I'm looking for?
We’ll notify you as soon as a matching Nursery List opens, so you can join.
Can I pick the pairing I want and wait for that Nursery List?
Nursery Lists only open for expecting moms, so you can’t join a closed list for a mom who isn’t bred yet. We can’t control heat cycles or nature, and we may wait until puppies are born to open a list.

The Expecting List
I'm specific about color but open to other traits. Is the Expecting List for me?
It depends on the color. Very rare colors only come from certain pairings, so the Ultimate Match Program may suit you best. I’ll advise you on the call.
I'm specific about gender. Is the Expecting List for me?
Yes. We can’t predict which pairings produce which gender, so the Expecting List is best. Join the Nursery List that has the gender you want.
I'm specific about size. Is the Expecting List for me?
We don’t breed for size, so puppies vary by pairing. We can estimate weights from past litters and parent size, so the Ultimate Match Program may be best, especially for smaller puppies.
How many spots are available per Nursery List?
Divine Pups reserves the right to first pick of every litter, and any Service Dog placement gets first pick when we don’t join. The first 2 picks go to the Ultimate Match Program. If those aren’t filled by 4 weeks, they open to the Expecting List. At 4 weeks, each Nursery List has 2 to 4 spots depending on litter size.
How do I join a Nursery List that opens at 6 weeks?
You’ll get an email that the Nursery List is open to the Expecting List, and you have 24 hours to reply "Join." After 24 hours, it opens to Pre-Approved homes, first come first served.
Are Expecting List deposits refundable, or do they expire?
All deposits are non-refundable and expire 6 months from the initial deposit. We only open the Expecting List when we’re expecting puppies, with limited spots, because our breeding decisions are based on the families waiting.
Can I switch from the Expecting List to the Ultimate Match Program?
Yes, if premium UMP spots are available. The total deposit is $1,850, with $1,000 credited toward your puppy. Once you join UMP, you can’t switch back.
What if the puppies on my Nursery List aren't a match for me?
Honoring each puppy’s voice is the most important part of our program. If no puppy is a temperament match, you go back on the Expecting List at your original deposit date, or join the next spot on another Nursery List. No new deposit is needed: your $500 Expecting List deposit and $500 Nursery List deposit carry over.
